"Ustawi" means "to thrive" in Swahili. We create safe, inspiring spaces where Kenyan youth aged 13-27 can overcome challenges and unlock their full potential in mind, identity, and skills.

Our Programs
Comprehensive support that integrates mental health, identity development, and livelihood skills into a single, cohesive youth empowerment ecosystem.
Mindset & Identity Workshops
Interactive sessions that help youth define personal goals, understand their strengths, and challenge negative beliefs. These workshops promote self-esteem, purpose, and belonging.
Virtual Creative Skills Labs
Online and in-person labs teaching digital and creative skills such as coding, design, media, and the arts. Partnering with tech hubs to ensure skills align with real-world opportunities.
Peer Mentorship Circles
Small groups of about ten youth meet weekly in safe, facilitated circles to share experiences and support each other. Led by trained "Circle Keepers" who ensure confidentiality and empathy.
Entrepreneurship & Livelihood Training
Practical training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and vocational skills. Graduates can access micro-grants or savings groups to launch small enterprises.
24/7 Youth Helpline
A confidential phone and chat service staffed by counselors and trained volunteers. Offers immediate emotional support, crisis referrals, and wellness coaching.
